About the university

In 1958, the Tambov branch of the Moscow Institute of Chemical Engineering (MICHM) was formed. It was headed by F.S. Polyansky. TSTU in Tambov was founded in 1958. Initially, the institution had the status of a branch of the Moscow Institute of Chemical Engineering due to the lack of qualified personnel with higher education. engineering education. Krasnyansky Mikhail Nikolaevich - professor, doctor of technical sciences, member of the Academy of Natural Sciences in the Russian Federation.
