Pharaoh fallen on his face. The body of Pharaoh - a sign of Allah Ayats about Pharaoh

The famous surgeon Maurice Boukay was born in France into a Christian family. After graduation high school he entered the Faculty of Medicine and later became a skilled surgeon, famous even outside of France. However, one incident that happened to him changed his life forever.

The French are known for their love of archeology and various kinds of historical values. When socialist President François Mitterrand came to power in the country in 1981, the French authorities turned to the Egyptian authorities with a request to provide them with a mummy ancient egyptian pharaoh For scientific research. The mummy of one of the pharaohs, who was known to have been a great tyrant and torturer during his lifetime, was transported to France, where it was met by the president himself and senior government officials, honoring him at the state level as if he were alive. The sarcophagus with the mummy was carried along a red carpet from the plane to a special car, as is usually the case with the head of state. She was then taken to the French Monuments Center, where an entire wing was specially equipped for research and famous archaeologists, surgeons and anatomists began to conduct various studies of the mummy. The surgeons' research was led by Maurice Bukay.

While specialists worked to restore the mummy, Bukai thought about why the pharaoh died. While conducting tests, he discovered the remains of sea salt on his body, and this was proof that the pharaoh drowned in the sea, but was removed from the sea water, mummified and his body remained intact. However, Bukai was tormented by another question: why did this body, unlike the bodies of other mummified pharaohs, remain completely intact, although it was removed from the water?

Bukai worked on a full report on the research and wondered whether the pharaoh’s body was caught from the water and immediately mummified or not. However, one surgeon on his team replied: “It is better not to touch on this topic, since the Muslims claim that the Pharaoh drowned.” At first, Bukai did not believe this, since he knew that such a conclusion could only be drawn by carefully studying the mummy using modern equipment and subjecting the data to computer analysis. Another colleague puzzled him even more by telling him that the Muslim Koran, which Muslims consider to be the word of God, tells a story in which the body of the pharaoh drowned and remained unharmed even under water.

Bukai wondered: “How was this known in the Koran if this mummy was discovered only in 1898, and the Koran was the holy book of Muslims already 1400 years ago and a few decades ago neither the general scientific community nor Muslims knew about this mummy and in general, mummification methods became known only at the beginning of the 20th century, when the first untouched burials of mummies were discovered.

Bukai spent the whole night in front of the Pharaoh's body, looking at it and thinking about what his colleagues had told him about the Koran and how the Pharaoh's body was discovered after he drowned, while the Bible only says that that Pharaoh oppressed the prophet Moses (Musa, peace be upon him), but there was no mention of the fate of his body.

“Can it be that Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) could know about this 1000 years ago, and I just found out?” he thought.

After a sleepless night, he asked for a copy of the Torah, but this only increased his surprise, since it did not say anything about the fact that the body was found safe and sound.

After completing the research, the mummy was returned to Egypt in a beautiful glass coffin, but Bukai could not find a place for himself, thinking about the story from the Koran, known to all Muslims, and eventually went to a medical conference that was held in Saudi Arabia.

There he spoke about his discovery, that is, that the body of the pharaoh remained intact even after he drowned. One of the conference participants opened the Quran and read 92 verses from Surah Yunus, which says: “Today We will save your body so that you will become a sign for those who will come after you. Indeed, many people despise Our signs.”

After this verse was read, Bukai stood up and said excitedly: “I believed in the Koran and accept Islam.”

Returning to France, Maurice Bukay spent 10 years researching how modern scientific discoveries coincide with references in the Qur'an and ultimately came to the conclusion that the Qur'an does not contradict modern science.

It has been translated from French into Arabic, English, Indonesian, Persian, Turkish and German languages and was sold in almost all Western countries.

In the preface to it, Bukai wrote: “This scientific information, which is mentioned in the Koran, unlike other scriptures, at first aroused deep surprise in me, since I have never encountered so many scientific questions that were stated so precisely that they represent a mirror description of what was recently discovered by scientists. And this is a book that has existed for 13 centuries!”

The story of Pharaoh and the prophet Musa (Moses), who called him to monotheism, is described in many verses holy quran. When the prophet Musa (peace be upon him) came to Pharaoh with a call to monotheism, he became proud and rejected the call. Then at night the prophet Musa (peace be upon him) gathered the sons of Israel and, under the cover of darkness, left the possessions of Pharaoh.

When Pharaoh found out about this, he decided to catch up with the prophet Musa (peace be upon him) and punish everyone who ran away with him. When Pharaoh caught up with Musa (peace be upon him) and the sons of Israel, there was a sea in front of them, and there was no other way. Then, at the inspiration of Allah, the prophet Musa (peace be upon him) struck the sea with his staff, and it opened up, forming 12 paths. When Musa (peace be upon him) and the sons of Israel passed through the seas, Pharaoh's army also followed him. When Musa (peace be upon him) and everyone with him were safe, Allah Almighty drowned Pharaoh and his army.

Regarding this, the Qur'an says:

“We brought the children of Israel across the sea. Pharaoh and his army chased after them with hatred and malice. But when the waters fell on them and were ready to swallow them up, (Pharaoh) exclaimed: “I believed that there is no other deity except the One in Whom the children of Israel believed, and I am one of those who surrendered themselves (to His will)” (Surah Yunus, 10:90)

But Allah Almighty did not accept Pharaoh’s repentance at that moment and did not recognize the sincerity in these words, since everything that was said was before the fear of imminent death.

“Only now have you believed? Now you have believed, but before you did not obey Us and were one of those who sowed dishonesty. Today We will save only your body so that you become an edification for future generations, and we will show everyone your body.” Indeed, many people do not know Our signs." (Sura Yunus, 10:91-92)

It is worth noting that archaeologists have found the body of a Pharaoh whom Allah drowned along with his army. The body of the Pharaoh was perfectly preserved despite the age of the mummy 3,000 years. You ask, “What does the sea have to do with it, since the body was found in the tomb of Pharaoh?” - But no.

Maurice Bouquet, the researcher who found the body of Pharaoh Ramses, thanks to modern technology and technology, found out that there were particles of sea salt on the body of the Pharaoh found in the tomb of the Pharaoh! Pharaoh's body was found on the seashore and only after that was buried in a tomb. This is a scientifically proven fact about which there is not an iota of doubt.

Allah made sure that the body of Pharaoh was preserved so that people would know His signs. This once again proves that Allah is the Truth, the Koran is the Truth and the prophets are the Truth.

And by the way, having learned that Pharaoh was mentioned in the Koran, surprised by the accuracy of the verses, Maurice Bouquet himself became a Muslim.

Allah Almighty says in the Quran:

“Today We will save only your body so that you become an edification for future generations, and we will show everyone your body.” Indeed, many people do not know Our signs.” (SURAH YUNUS, 10:91-92)

Allahu Akbar, after reading this, will there still be people who do not believe in the signs of the Lord?

The body of Pharaoh is a sign of Allah. The story of how Musa (Moses) came to Pharaoh and called him to monotheism is described in many verses of the Koran. Coming to Pharaoh, Musa called him to faith in Allah, but Pharaoh became proud and rejected the call. Then, at night, Musa gathered the sons of Israel and left the possessions of Pharaoh. Having learned about this, Pharaoh decided to catch up with Musa and everyone who was with him in order to punish them. When Pharaoh's army was close to Musa and the sons of Israel, Musa, at the inspiration of Allah, struck the sea that was in front of them with his staff, and it opened up, forming 12 paths. When Musa and those with him passed through the sea, Pharaoh and his army followed them. When Musa and the sons of Israel were safe, Allah drowned Pharaoh and his army. “We brought the children of Israel across the sea. Pharaoh and his army chased after them with hatred and malice. All praise be to Allah.
This verse of Surah Yunus comes in the context of a description of Pharaoh’s attitude towards the Prophet Musa (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and towards those sons of Israel who were with him. When Musa went with the believers to the promised land, Pharaoh and his army went in pursuit of them to bring them back and punish them. During their long journey, they came to the sea and could not go further, but Allah honored His Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and the believers who were with him by making for them dry land in the sea on which they could pass . And they crossed the sea in front of their enemies. The enemy of Allah, Pharaoh, out of his stupidity and ignorance, sailed after them on a ship, but he and those who were with him drowned.
When death surrounded the tyrant on all sides, and the waves of the sea surrounded him, he realized that death was inevitable, and said: “I have believed that there is no God except Him in whom the children of Israel (Israel) have believed. I became one of the Muslims." (10:90)
But it was too late, the time for repentance had passed, and the time for faith had expired as death approached.
The death of this tyrant in this manner is one of the greatest signs that demonstrates the consequences of stubbornness, ignorance and sin. Therefore, Allah wished to leave and preserve this sign so that there would be no doubt or ambiguity. Therefore, He ordained that Pharaoh's body would remain motionless on the shore so that the people who served and worshiped him would see him, and this would be the most eloquent lesson for them.
Allah said (translation of the meaning): “Today We will save your body so that you may become a sign for those who come after you.” Indeed, many people neglect Our signs.” (10:92)

Ibn Kasir said:
“Ibn Abbas and other Salaf said that some of the children of Israel doubted the death of Pharaoh, so Allah ordered the sea to throw his body, whole but lifeless, dressed in well-known armor, on an elevated piece of land. Therefore, Allah said (translation of the meaning): “Today We will save your (dead) body (i.e., raise it to a high place on the earth) so that you will become a sign for those who come after you.” Indeed, many people despise Our signs."
Mujahid said: “your body.”
Al Hasan said: "a body in which there is no soul"
Abdullah ibn Shaddad said: “the whole, i.e. not decaying, so that they could recognize him and be sure that it was him.
Abu Shakhr said: "with your weapons."
There is no disagreement in these opinions, as we will see below, insha Allah.
The words “so that you become a sign for those who come after you” means that this will be proof of your death, for the children of Israel, and will show that Allah is the One who is Almighty and in His hands is every creation, and nothing can withstand it anger"
Tafsir ibn Kasir (2:565)

This is what happened. The children of Israel saw the dead body of Pharaoh with their own eyes, and it was a sign for those who saw him, and it is a sign for all who will come after him and hear the story of his death.
It does not say that his body will be preserved until Doomsday, as some people think. If the purpose was to preserve the body of Pharaoh, for all the people who would come after him, so that they would see his dead body, then his body would be well known to all who came after him and to those who heard the story about him, and thus it would be accomplished Promise. But what happened was that people forgot about it, and centuries later no one knew until archaeologists found the body of the Pharaoh who drowned.
Sheikh Salih al Fawzan said: “The meaning of Allah’s words “that you may become a sign for those who come after you” is this: for the Children of Israel, proof will be provided that you are in fact dead, and that Allah is Almighty, and that He controls every being on earth, and no one can escape His punishment, even if he wields power and strength among men. This does not mean that the body of Pharaoh will remain intact until our times, as the ignorant think, because the purpose of throwing the body out was to show people that Pharaoh died and to refute the doubts of the children of Israel. This goal was achieved, and the body of Pharaoh is like any other body, and nothing will remain of it except what remains of other bodies, i.e. the tip of the coccyx, from which the body will be recreated on the Day of Judgment, according to the hadith. Therefore, the body of a pharaoh is no different from the body of another person. Allah knows best"
Al Majmu min Fatawa al Fawzan (1: 132)

But, it must be noted here that if the body of Pharaoh appears again, and experts in archeology and history confirm that it is the body of the Pharaoh who is mentioned in the Book, then this will be an indication of the truth of what the Qur'an says about the Pharaoh who was brought up from the sea.
The scholar Tahir ibn Ashur said: “The subtlety of the Quran is the words “Today We will save your body so that you may become a sign for those who come after you.” Indeed, many people neglect Our signs.” (10:92). This is something that has not been mentioned by anyone about Pharaoh, this is one of the scientific miracles of the Qur'an, since the verse corresponds to historical facts."
Tahrir Wal Tavir (1:2065)

Conclusion:
Pharaoh's body was thrown up by the sea on this day and protected from decay, but it was not certain that it would be preserved until the Day of Judgment. If it is proven archaeologically and historically that the body of Pharaoh has survived to this day, then it is not allowed to say that this is a miracle from Allah for all people, rather it is a historical confirmation of the verse of the Quran, and it is a miracle.
Allah knows best.
