In the sixth block "Evolution of living nature" includes tasks aimed at controlling: knowledge about the form, driving forces, directions and results of the evolution of the organic world; the ability to explain the basic aromorphoses in the evolution of the plant and animal world, to establish the relationship of the driving forces and the results of evolution.
Seventh block "Ecosystems and their inherent patterns" contains tasks aimed at testing: knowledge of environmental patterns, about the circulation of substances in the biosphere; the ability to establish the relationship of organisms in ecosystems, to identify the causes of sustainability,
self-development and change of ecosystems.

These changes mainly concern the optimization of the structure of the examination paper :
1. Jobs in the form of one digit corresponding to the number of the correct answer are excluded.
2. The total number of tasks has been reduced from 40 to 28.
3. Reduced the maximum primary score from 61 to 59.
4. The duration of the examination work has been increased from 180 to 210 minutes.
